Terence started his career as a civil engineer who self-taught programming and AI more than 14 years ago. As one of the youngest ICE Fellow in the world, he attained all-round experience in engineering design, project management, business transformation, and policy design with technical acumen in AI, IoT, App, BIM, GIS and digital twin development. Before founding his own business, Terence led the Digital Transformation Department of one of the largest construction companies in Hong Kong at the young age of 27. In this role, he continuously drove digital transformation and AI in the construction industry together with other government departments.

In 2019, Terence founded Varadise, a one-stop solution for smart construction, facility and city data management. The business experienced exponential growth, surging 1000% in just 4 years. Today, Varadise is a leading provider of digital twin solutions in Hong Kong, playing a pivotal role in advancing smart city development in the region.

Terence actively contributes to the construction industry as a committee member of various industry organizations. In these roles, he focuses on driving innovation and growth in the sector, particularly in the areas of technology adoption, data standardization, and policy development within the Greater Bay Area and Southeast Asia.
